The company SPET - Services Production Export Import Transport S.A. Bucharest, has reached its 9th year of activity in the field of freight and person transport on the Danube river and is one of the top river transport companies in Romania.

Established in 1993 in Bucharest under the name SPET S.A. the company now has representative offices and working points in Bucharest, Bechet, Calafat, Craiova, Giurgiu, Constantza, Braila, Tulcea and Isaccea.
In the border localities of Bechet and Calafat, the company's main activity is to transport freight and persons across the Danube, using Ro-Ro barges.

The researches and studies performed within the company over the years have resulted in taking over the majority stock of the following Romanian ports: Calafat, Cetate, Gruia, Orsova, Tisovita, Drencova and Moldova Noua, therefore the company has considerable logistic strength in the majority of the river Danube ports.
